During the Nikon Film Festival, under the theme Beauty, I wrote and led the art direction of Le Dernier Coup de Pinceau alongside Chani Demeure. We chose to approach beauty through thanatopraxy, imagining a world where working on a corpse live on television would no longer shock anyone.

By borrowing the visual codes of reality TV and television studios, the film questions our growing desensitization to images and the abusive mechanisms of contemporary media, where intimacy, bodies, and death itself become content. Beauty is no longer emotional or human, it is manufactured, optimized, and normalized through spectacle.
